While on my Sunday morning bike ride I noticed quite a bit of activity at one of the trailheads back towards home. I asked what was happening and was told the local running club was having its annual 5k/10k/half/full marathon. I thought I might make it through before the race, so I continued on. About 3/4s of the way I hit the runners. There was a few at first, then a large pack. I decided to pull over until it thinned. I started cheering some of the runners. Then a thought hit me! What would Tim Walz do? I spent the next hour cheering, clapping and encouraging all the runners that went by. Fast, slow, young, old, it was a diverse group and I did my best to elevate them. My throat hurts now. But it was fun. This should be a thing. #WhatWouldTimWalzDo
