Today is the first day of Tour de France, and therefore also Tour de Fleece, where spinners spin each day the bikers race. I'm starting with spinning up these amazing braids of Rambouillet dyed by Fossil Fibers - Bee Hummingbird colorway. Tour de Fleece Day 1: 1/2 of my first Bee Hummingbird braid has been spun. I broke the first braid in 4 and this is the first 2 bits. I plan to separate the second braid into 8ths or maybe even 16ths. I doubt I’ll be able to keep up this pace the whole time but I am extremely eager to see how this ends up. #TourDeFleece2026 #TourDeFleece #HandSpinning #TextileArts #FiberArts
