@consumablejoy@wandering.shop does it count if I bought the yarn for a project but haven't started yet? š I found this [adorable cat-butt coaster pattern](https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/peeking-cat-butt-coaster) and want to make coasters as holiday gifts for some of my cat-owned friends. So I dug through pics they have shared of their cats, and my treat for myself after finishing the Christmas mouse was a trip to [my local yarn shop](https://hillsboroughyarn.com/) to stock up on cotton yarn in appropriate colors. My BFF has a tabby striped black-and-gray cat, and I couldn't find an appropriate gradient yarn, so I'm going to try to hold two thinner strands together for the first time! Getting to actually *start* on them will be my reward for finishing my Totoro amigurumi... š #FinishOrFrogAlong

I had problems deciding. I *want* to be most excited about my Imogen sweater but in reality I am most excited about spinning my Roost blended nest sets from Woodland Pixie. I got 3 - 1 medium and 2 large. I plan to spin the medium on Turkish spindles and chain ply. The large sets will be on the Starling and then plied together. Iām guessing these will become a hat with matching cowl. #handSpinning #fiberArts #FibreArts #FinishOrFrogAlong

@consumablejoy@wandering.shop oh... such a hard question! Contrary to the spirit of #FinishOrFrogAlong, I've added three WIPs to my pile this month... Oops... So I have quite a few to be getting on with. I'm most excited to work on the shawl with the wool I picked up during my recent travels. It's worsted weight and I've mostly worked with DK and below. It's multicolour and I usually work with plain colours. It's a written pattern and I usually work from charts. Loads of new to me things, so I'm excited!
