@TheBreach@mastodon.social The universities should have acted firmly from the start. Students have no right to create encampments on university property, whatever the cause; a few quick expulsions would have prevented the entrenchment of such camps.

@mpjgregoire@cosocial.ca @TheBreach@mastodon.social the world in 2026 is so overrun with injustice and horrible abuse of power that it would be deeply disheartening to walk by a university campus and not see fierce protests. I 💯 support the right of university students to protest, without limits or conditions. If we lose that, we lose everything. We may have already lost. Time will tell.
