You can run away from America but apparently you can’t run away from over the top rude Americans.
Just got yelled at by some overweight old white american by saying “excuse me” in line at the V&A yesterday. Maybe I’m getting too used to British politeness standards? Or just I dunno common courtesy.

@kangaroo5383@mastodon.social ugly americans are all over the place. I ran in to quite a few when I lived in Vietnam. I learned how to ignore them.
