* Exposure down moves the whole image closer to black
* Contrast increases the dynamic range, making darks darker and lights lighter
* Shadows also increases the dynamic range, but affects darker tones only.
It's common to use all of these to shape and place the image's tones where you want them. Using the keyboard controls this is very quick to do.

@mostol@social.coop @aphera@mastodon.social We don't have a Blacks-specific slider as that tends to be a narrow adjustment. The above tools are very broad, keeping the image's natural response intact. If you need more control, add a Grading layer. Lift and Offset are additional controls that might be useful.
