We have a Vietnamese restaurant with the same owner I guess. “You want German beer? No! Vietnamese! Coco rice for desert? No! You get pandan cake!”
The items might be out of stock, but she’s so brutal in her decisions I wouldn’t dare to ask.

That really sounds like the same owner. I’m always grateful for whatever food she grants me, especially since it’s always excellent, and I wouldn’t dream of not flushing the toilet—that would undoubtedly lead to the consequences listed on the sign; that’s as certain as death and taxes.
