#CounterTheDoomscroll 🌈 What is the fediverse? Is it a medium to make people lose hope and feel depressed? Full of passionate people who want to improve the world, I am nonetheless presented every morning with 1,000's of huge problems-getting-worse in every area imaginable that these people project to each other. Problem-awareness is one thing. It is needed. But there's precious little uplifting stuff being shared, and ways on how to be part of the solution. Timelines that are only doom & gloom serve to wear people out, feel extra deflated as the weight of the world is pushed on their shoulders, and they feel powerless to make a real difference. This while every minute 2 cents contributed to a solution counts! Share more uplifting things, and how other people can participate. It is important, we already know the world burns.
