#question What #Podcast streamer do folks use? Hoping to find a #notforprofit or #democratic streaming platform as I dive into the world of podcasts.

@votetanille@socialbc.ca Podcast Addict on Android. Works good for me. *edit* - it's commercial, but seems non-evil.

@votetanille@socialbc.ca are you looking for something to listen on or something to publish with?

@votetanille@socialbc.ca I don't if ever bothered with a streaming site for podcasts. I've always an app (various over the years) to grab the RSS feeds directly.

@votetanille@socialbc.ca For listening, I love AntennaPod - it's free and open source https://antennapod.org/ When I start a podcast, I will use Yellowball, which is privacy minded and solo run. I appreciate the developer's youtube channel so I am happy to support his other work. It offers total portability if you need to take your episodes and listeners elsewhere.
