When I want to feel sad, I watch the popular Japanese animated series Neon Genesis Evangelion, and its follow-on theatrical release, End of Evangelion. It reminds me of my own life and struggle to be relatable through its themes of loneliness and alienation. What I see happening in the real world and in the corporate realm is everybody's "Absolute Terror" fields preventing them from achieving real connection. It's a real Hedgehog's Dilemma, if you ask me. This has been Xan On Your Side.
