(that post was mostly about the foundation but the foundation and the community suffer from the same disease.)

@deobald@fantastic.earth @zeenix@toot.cat Unlike a hierarchical org which is designed to have mechanisms for control and change, no such thing exists for a community. Once a community without a BDFL becomes toxic, that's it. There's no going back. I've seen it enough times.
