@BUnicycling@mastodon.ie @osm_fr@fr.osm.social Also I inferred patterns of current transhumance when mapping parts of Lesotho. I'd be cautious about treating droveways in Scotland and Wales as part of transhumance as most were a way of getting animals to more profitable markets. Quite distinct from how cañadas were/are used. Fay Goodwins book on Welsh droveways is both interesting and attractive. (I gave my mother a copy in 1976, no idea where it's gone).
