@cararemixed@mastodon.social interesting. I had tried turning thunderbolt off entirely and that didn’t seem to do the trick. I’ll dig around to see if there is also a BIOS assist setting hiding somewhere

@joe@f.duriansoftware.com No idea if this will help pin it down but you can check system tasks in top (press 'S' or pass -S). Sometimes there's something that should be idle which isn't.
