We used to have street like this also in my area, especially on roads connecting close villages (5/6 Km away from each other).
But many have been cut down (and not replaced) either because they become fragile, or because they were dangerous for car traffic. 🤦♂️

@gcsolaroli@mastodon.clipperz.is @andrewg@mastodon.ie That's so sad. Utrecht is filled with streets like this and enough trees planted to ensure we'll have even more tree-lined bike streets in the future.
