Dear pocket friends, can anyone provide me with a pen recommendation? I've been using Pilot G-2 .05 pens for a while in my bullet journal. What I like about them is the extra-fine lines, and the very dark black in the ink. (Compared to, say, the less-black black of a BIC pen.) However I'm finding their flow rate to be a bit high, I easily smudge my writing because of how much ink goes on the page. I would like an extra-fine pen with a lesser flow rate, suitable for BJ pages. TIA :3

@jerbear@kind.social I fell in love with Pentel RSVP fine pens in high school and basically use them for everything lol. I never really liked the gel pens cuz I always smeared the ink. also tagging in @lcom@kind.social for more recommendations, I know he likes gel inks and such!

@jerbear@kind.social I use lots of fine tipped non-rollerball pens in my design work, and enjoy writing with them as well. Flow rate is rarely an issue unless you are writing on a very liquid-resistant surface. My current go-to brands are the Staedtler Fineliner Pigment Liner, available in a range of widths; and the Copic Multiliners. https://www.staedtler.com/us/en/products/products-for-colouring/fineliners/pigment-liner-308-fineliner-m308/ https://copicmarkers.com/collections/multiliners

@jerbear@kind.social I highly highly recommend the pens from Muji! They're fine point and don't smear and write beautifully!

@jerbear@kind.social Uni-ball one f. Exists in 0.5 and 0.38. Popular in places where people use Chinese characters and need lines to be fine enough to show the strokes
