So Google is killing Android Freedom but can't even keep its official Play Store safe?! 😡 A fake version of #Chrome app appeared on the Google Play Store above the real one - And Google is trying to stop you know side loading apps and only use its Play Store for 'Security reasons'. THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. Take action & sign the petition: https://keepandroidopen.org/cta/ #Android is supposed to be open, & your phone should be yours → NOT GOOGLES.

@Tutanota@mastodon.social lol. Idiots. Well user experience and cyber security are not their business model. Data harvesting, profiling and advertising are. So, as he says in Joker, "YOU GET WHAT YOU FUCKING DESERVE!"

@Tutanota@mastodon.social Centralizing control means centralizing _mistakes_. Concentrating power leads to bigger potential catastrophes from those mistakes. This is not only an argument against the likes of Google; it's an argument against any and all large entities.

@Tutanota@mastodon.social LMAO fuck google, let's all use alternative YT frontends, YTDLP, spread the word about the gore problem on YT, and deprivethem of their ad revenue until they change. Oh and Epic Games suing them again would be nice too, get some third party devs on board too.
