If the ruling class is coherent, or is made to comply (see Putin), then the rich can squeeze everything from us

that backlash is dangerous when it’s funded That is largely my point, yes. The people trying to put datacenters in our neighborhoods are very, very rich. We ordinary people can stop this, but we need to be ready to continue the fight when they hit us back.
