Just saw the new Shaun the Sheep at the cinema. The most shocking thing was the trailers beforehand. Four different films, four different studios… but all identical storylines, identical computer animation styles, identical jokes and slapstick. I know it’s a common trope but honestly “Unhappy here” > “Magically transported somewhere apparently fun but with risks” > “Have to get home” needs more originality than on show here.
