@keefmarshall@mastodon.online I'm on Vernissage since January and I find it much better than Pixelfed for posting photos. Also it's being developed more consistently. You don't really need an app either, but I've been testing the beta version of the Pixelix app and it's nice. Can't post on Vernissage yet though I'm here: @kallekn@vernissage.photos #vernissage

@keefmarshall@mastodon.online I'm a big fan of #Vernissage. The website and iOS apps are both stunning, really well designed, and very fast. I've been a #Pixelfed user for a few years, but the lack of updates, poor performance, and needlessly problematic developer pushed me elsewhere, and I couldn't be happier. Vernissage has reinvigorated my love of photography.

@keefmarshall@mastodon.online @Pixelix@mastodon.social I am on the Vernissage discord following in hopes they will eventually provide a way to migrate photos from PixelFed. I have stopped posting to PixelFed for all of the reasons others have stated but when I want to view the photos of the lovely people I follow there I currently use Impressia but it is iOS only.
