Hi there folks, while I'm reluctant to spam the Fediverse about my hobbies I'm getting a bit desperate. @uklta@mastodon.social is running its event Cyberpunk: A Life on the Edge next weekend and we've been hit by some crew dropouts that are close to making it non-viable. So if anybody is interested in trying out something different for a weekend maybe come along and give it a try. #LARP crew generally play the 'supporting actor' and 'extra' roles in the game: everything from talkative characters to mooks who get mown down in a gunfight. We use Laser-Tag kit to simulate guns (there's no use of typical LARP weapons to hit each other), which we'll loan you, and we're a bit 'tech heavy' in an attempt to emulate what we can of the genre. All you need is some plain outdoor clothing you're happy to be active in outdoors. The game is at The Grange near Coventry, which makes it a camping event, but the site is surprisingly reachable by public transport for a LARP site. Sadly we can't feed you as the catering is sold separately by the site. Details here https://cyberpunk.larp.org.uk/
