I hope people learn shit from this KDE discourse but I'm not convinced they will. I'm convinced the discourse will get rancid until eventually they have a "Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?" moment like McCarthyism did.

@Elizafox@social.treehouse.systems I don't think this will end the same way. The anti-LLM portion of developers are generally more aware of the dynamics of power (and recent history of politics) than people who would make toothless calls to decency.
