Aaaah great theme. One of my absolute favourite authors, so A LOT of suggestions from me this week, sorry, because there is so much awesomeness to pay homage to.
Man With The Hex - The Atomic Fireballs
Pappa Death - Love and Money
She Wolf - Megadeth
Wolf Totem - The HU
Frying Pan - Mother Mother
Resurrection - Moist
Start Wearing Purple - Gogol Bordello (which is as close as I can get to I Shall Wear Midnight)
Dragon Attack - Queen
Ruby - The Kaiser Chiefs
I Feel Love - Blue Man Group
And this isn't a suggestion, because it is explicitly based on the books and co-written by Pratchett and he also lends his voice to it, and thus it lacks the free-association whimsy which the theme cries out for, but in case anyone is unaware of it:
Wintersmith - Steeleye Span

@DJDarren@mendeddrum.org Also, there's a lovely little universe-crossing randomness that I can't find a clip of, but in the Inspector Morse prequel 'Endeavour' (apparently in s3 e4, 'Coda'), Roger Allam's character Inspector Thursday name-checks his "old guv'nor, Sergeant Vimes, Cable Street" - which I find utterly charming and very moving. The writer was a friend of Pratchett's, and this was the first episode filmed after his death. It's splendid that Vimes, imo one of the greatest characters in modern literature, gets to be part of fighting the fash in our world too. #ThePlaylistSuggestion #ThePlaylist #GNUTerryPratchett
