#HyperK
HyperK Devlog: I now have signed shift amounts working! Just as with architectures like VAX, SuperH, and M32C, HyperK uses the sign of the shift amount operand to determine the direction. This has the convenient property of making shift amount, *S*, fully consistent with the equation. Y = X * 2^S.
This behavior is not what GCC wants, so some expanders are necessary to insert negations where necessary. But I’ve now got it fully working.
