Ummmm... 1. The audio isn't working for me in this clip so I can't hear what she actually said. 2. In other clips I *can* hear that's not REMOTELY what she said. She supports adding a public option to Medicare/Medicaid, which is pretty standard for mainstream Dems these days.

I read some post about how Mastodon consists primarily of German-speaking creatures talking in English. I'm gonna do a poll, need to test that. Boosts highy appreciated! So, do you speak German?

My little indie web browser is turning 3 today! 100,000+ downloads and 990 Quiche ᴘʟᴜꜱ members later, it might be on track to become a viable solo business. The only way to express my gratitude is to keep pushing to make this app much better 🫶 It's also proof that doing one or two things well beats being average everywhere, and that quality-of-life features outlast chasing AI fads. If this also resonates with you, please join and make Quiche ᴘʟᴜꜱ a 1,000+ party!

I keep pointing out to the people who demand I agree that Israel has a right to exist, that no state has a right to exist under international law. Here, Jonathan Cook explains this clearly, with particular reference to Israel and Palestine. #States #Politics #InternationalLaw #Israel #Palestine No state has a ‘right’ to exist – least of all an apartheid, genocidal state like Israel https://jonathancook.substack.com/p/no-state-has-a-right-to-exist-least

I heard some people say that if there is one photo of you online then it doesn't matter if you post more "since your face is already in their system" they say this to feel better about posting lots of photos and video. However this isn't true. Less information is better. If there are only a few photos of you then you can know which one someone was using, and photos grow out of date with time. Less is better unless you have a good reason to put your face out there. It's n...

I don’t think the bar analogy is particularly helpful at this point. But if any of your friends say that they’ve had a shitty time in a particular bar, and you go “nah, it’s fine actually, I’ve had no problems there”, rather than “sorry, I didn’t know, let’s go somewhere else”, then you are a bad friend.

I posted about this the other day: an #ICE agent passed out drunk on someone's lawn. When the homeowner, a 72 year old man, woke the guy up the ICE agent assaulted him. The homeowner's daughter tried to intervene and the "agent" assaulted her too. So the homeowner got a gun and nonfatally shot the ICE Nazi, who was then arrested by the daughter's boyfriend, an off-duty cop. ICE tried to jailbreak the guy and the Fresno police are not having it. https://gvwire.com/2026/10/...

ughhhh I signed up for the Steam Frame and they DID NOT pick me. I am so sad because my Quest 2 is so jank and on it's last legs. As mentioned before I am often using my VR to make up my own art references and stuffs. I really don't want to buy another Quest cause fuck Meta but who knows when the Frame will actually be in stock. I've been signed up for a Steam controller since they released and I STILL haven't been able to buy one.
